Our Story — El Gustito Boricua

My name is Norberto and I am Puerto Rican — born and raised on the island, now living in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

When I moved to the mainland I quickly realized something was missing. Not just the beaches or the music or the people — but the everyday things. The smell of Café Yaucono brewing on a Sunday morning. The Holsum crackers my family always had in the pantry. The pilones from the colmado on the corner. The Malta fría after a long day. The little things that make Puerto Rico feel like home.

I looked everywhere for authentic Puerto Rican products where I live and kept coming up empty. So I decided to stop looking and start building.

El Gustito Boricua was born from that feeling — that gustito — that little taste of home that every Boricua on the mainland knows and misses.

We source our products directly from Puerto Rico — hitting the wholesalers, the markets, and the local vendors to bring you the most authentic PR products we can find. Everything is hand picked, packed with care, and shipped straight to your door anywhere in the United States.
